Start your own blog

That walk you keep talking about, your first baking disaster, or the music you keep coming back to could become your first blog post. You don't have to be an expert to share something interesting. Your own perspective is what makes the story personal. Choose one subject and write as if you were telling a friend. What happened, which detail stayed with you, and what would you do differently next time? Finish one story before worrying about a name, a design, or a posting schedule. Add a photo you took if you like, or begin with words alone. Save a draft first and decide later whether to make it public. Leave out other people's personal information. For a small first step, write the opening paragraph of a story you would enjoy reading again.

Make this idea your own: what would you like to do, who might join you and what is a manageable first step? Save it to your list and develop your plan when the time feels right.
